Sixteen visitors to the center yesterday. Matthew Kantola CPRP at Grand Gulf State Park had stopped in to show off some of his pets from the park and got to expound on his territory to a visitor who stopped in while he was there. (I'd like to keep him as a volunteer) He did a great job and  helped our guest while I answered a phone call and assisted another visitor    One of our 'sometime' volunteers will no longer be coming in so if you or anyone you know would like to  'come on board' we could certainly use you.  Call me at 264-7324 or 280-2575 and we'll set a time for you to come by the caboose and show you what we do. We are planning to have two people on duty at all times because there are times visitors are coming in both doors of the caboose( as happened when Matthew was in yesterday)0,) and it is difficult for one person to give proper attention to the visitors.   We are looking forward to a group from a private school in Jonesboro, AR coming to the center and visiting our area this weekend so I'll get off here and go 'catch the train.'
